Security Officer - Patrol Driver Alarm Response

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, office spaces, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to incoming personnel and site contacts.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
