Security Officer Patrol Driver Alarm Response

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel to help deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
- Document incidents, patrol activities, and relevant observations accurately and communicate with store management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
- Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$24.15 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Day shift: Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
