Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, loading zones, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting activities as required.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related issues to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- At least six months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
