As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation Officer in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and shipping areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, or operational issues according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and inventory protection efforts by observing trailer yards, dock doors, and high-traffic areas, and reporting suspicious activity, damaged property, and/or unsecured access points.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

About the Role

Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer service.

Qualifications

• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
