Security Officer Patrol Documentation

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Riviera Beach, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, support access-control activities, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately through required reports and communication tools.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.25 / hour

• Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
