Security Officer Patrol Deterrence

As a Security Officer – Patrol Deterrence in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as hotels and resorts. Working as an unarmed security officer at a downtown hotel, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming guest experience while communicating professionally with guests, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest floors, entrances, lobby areas, parking facilities, service areas, and the surrounding property to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the hotel, and report security‑related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour. Weekly pay. CLEET assistance is available.
