Security Officer Patrol Guard

About the role

Join Allied Universal in a dynamic retail location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or store personnel by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related protocols.
• Maintain assigned areas for policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts for follow-up.
• Aid with access control, opening and closing activities, and customer assistance at the location while maintaining a professional presence and supporting security-related operations.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
