Security Officer Patrol Detail

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the location, including surrounding grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter disruptions, observe for suspicious behavior, and support established visitor and employee access practices.
• Complete routine reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observed conditions, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
