Security Officer Patrol Detail

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with entry procedures and verifying credentials when required by location policies.
• Support property rules and community standards by observing and reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance-related concerns to designated contacts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
