About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Conflict Resolution in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols, observation, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
Requirements
- Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
