Security Officer Patrol Support

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence, communicate with staff regarding security-related concerns, and help with requested post duties based on location needs.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
