Security Officer Patrol Attendant

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor processing, after-hours access requests, and other assigned security-related duties.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Patrol and security experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
