About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors or site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and report security-related issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and help to deter unauthorized activity in accordance with site policies.
- Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and post duties.
Requirements
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
