About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Huntsville, AL. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.60 / hour

• Part Time
• Day shifts: Saturday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
