Security Officer Patrol Armed Detail

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Armed Detail in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activities, and observations, and communicate with branch personnel, visitors, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Must be able to work long hours standing and walking. Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Basic computer skills for accessing and submitting reports.
