What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with supervisors and/or appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Serve in an armed post while following all applicable post orders, use of force guidelines, and/or reporting procedures related to the location.
- Aid with access control, visitor screening, and monitoring of sensitive or restricted areas to help support daily operations and a professional environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- For armed roles, an armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
