Security Officer Patrol Alarm Assessment

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location in Arlington, VA, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarm-related activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Pay

$21.75 / Hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
