Security Officer Alarm Signal Assessment

Join Allied Universal as a Security Professional supporting a commercial real estate location in Boston, MA. This part-time position involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, monitoring access points and alarms, and responding to security-related concerns. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Alarm panel experience (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$23.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
