Security Officer Patrol Agent

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations through proper channels.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
