About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol Readiness in Williamsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. At a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report access control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
