As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a professional environment through routine patrols, clear reporting, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location
- Monitor access points, verify identification and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct personnel and deliveries in accordance with site requirements
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, offices, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, access activity, incidents, and unusual observations
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Pay
$25.75 / Hour
Schedule
Part Time: Saturday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sunday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
