In this part‑time Security Officer Visitor Registration position in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as logistics and distribution. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site‑specific security procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, issue visitor and contractor badges, and maintain accurate access records.
• Control access for employees, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures; help deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.61 per hour (Part‑time)

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Saturday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM; Sunday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
