Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and law enforcement personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate locations within the facility.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations through established procedures.
• Assist with maintaining orderly access to government facilities and restricted areas while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and the perimeter as required by site procedures.

Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
