About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related procedures with integrity and teamwork. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and commercial vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor, contractor, and vehicle access, including required credentials, identification, and deliveries.
- Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$15.24 / hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
