Security Officer Part Time Visitor Reception

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and respond to alarms or incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to maintain a professional, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility, receive and document deliveries, and maintain accurate visitor and incident records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response procedures.
• Support a professional and orderly lobby environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting suspicious activity or policy concerns to site leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.95 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
