Security Officer Part Time Visitor Reception

As a Part-Time Security Officer at a healthcare location in Nashville, TN, you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service using computer or tablet systems to support a professional, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at a healthcare location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information as applicable, manage visitor access, and provide directions to appropriate departments.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly reception area and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.60 per hour.

Part-time. Shifts:

• Monday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
