Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Warehouse

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part‑Time Unarmed Security Officer to work in a warehouse environment in Colorado Springs, CO, serving clients in technology, media, and telecommunications. The role involves screening visitors, verifying access, monitoring entry points, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, belongings, packages, and deliveries using established procedures and approved equipment; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy concerns to site leadership.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation; maintain accurate visitor, package, and incident records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Pay

$21.01 per hour.

Schedule

• Friday (Daytime): 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
