Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Security Rounds

Pay

Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Monday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM; Sunday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns, operational changes, and incident follow‑up.

Minimum Requirements

• At least six months of security‑related experience (unarmed).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21 + for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
