As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.07 / Hour

Schedule: Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sunday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
