About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Financial Institutions. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
