Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Prevention Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to site needs with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, lobbies, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies; document observations, incidents, and daily activities through required reports and logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly professional environment by providing directions, enforcing property rules, and communicating concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.25 / hour

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
