About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Prevention Security Officer in Independence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter (working environments and conditions may vary by client site).

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.50 per hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
