As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge processes, and respond to alarm-related activity. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour
  • Position Type: Part Time
  • Schedule: Daytime Monday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor management processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming presence while following Allied Universal and client site reporting protocols.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Skills

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • CPR certification.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Access control and badge experience.
  • Alarm panel experience.
