Pay

Pay Rate: $18.87 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Friday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): hired for a designated site and weekly shift with a six‑month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time one week and full‑time the next, up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other members of the school community while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, student‑related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, entrances, parking areas, athletic facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures; assist with directing visitors and maintaining orderly entry and exit during school operations and events.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Customer service experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
