As a Part‑Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Portland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as chemical and petrochemical, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, observing and reporting security‑related concerns, and providing professional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, access points, perimeter locations, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report security‑related concerns, unusual conditions, equipment issues, and potential hazards to appropriate site personnel.
• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate activity logs and reports.

Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
