Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and support badge procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support a professional financial-services environment by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions or assistance, and reporting maintenance, access-control, and other security-related issues.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.50 / Hour

• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
