Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Alburtis, PA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and report security-related concerns. This position offers flexibility with a schedule that works for you and access to the Claim a Shift platform for additional opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other designated locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify designated contacts as required.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR Certification (B205) from a recognized organization such as the American Heart Association or Red Cross must be obtained and maintained prior to start date for positions requiring it.

Pay

$20.50 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time. Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
