Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Experience

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests and team members. This is a part-time position offering flexibility to build a schedule that works for you through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel and resort grounds, guest areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$27.33 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
