Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol Experience

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license.

Pay

$25.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
