About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This driving position includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help manage visitor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, including directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$25.00 / Hour

- Saturday: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
- Sunday: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
