About the role
As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Response Security Officer in Salinas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions and potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
