Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Verification

Pay

$18.46 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Saturday 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM, Sunday 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while following site‑specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate campus personnel and public services as needed.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security‑related issues according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and timely reports documenting patrol activities, incidents, and interactions with the campus community.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy (required for driving positions).
• Age 21 years or older (C101).
• Prior experience with access control systems and badge management.
• Familiarity with alarm panel systems.
• Comfortable using computers or tablets; basic software proficiency.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lb.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
