As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with visitors and staff, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, guests, staff, and/or vendors at a cultural institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of exhibit areas, public spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor visitor activity and access points, help to deter unauthorized entry, and support the protection of cultural property and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation (as required by law).
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.

Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (DayTime).
