As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while helping create a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Day: Saturday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Day: Sunday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
