Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Support

Allied Universal® is North America’s leading security and facility services company. The part‑time, unarmed Security Officer position in Charlotte, NC supports commercial real estate locations, providing routine patrols, a visible presence, incident response, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial property common areas, parking facilities, exterior spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe site conditions, document unusual activity, and report maintenance or security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with visitor directions, tenant inquiries, and other property‑related requests.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.85 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Friday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM.
