Security Officer Part Time Unarmed CPR Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location in Jeffersonville, IN, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the property perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and service requests accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.63 / hour

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
