As a Part-Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Security Officer in Newton, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned logistics areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will respond to incidents, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
