About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Assurance in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate promptly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as appropriate, while maintaining accurate daily activity and incident reports.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
