Security Officer Part Time Unarmed - Overnight

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer working overnight in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as residential communities. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and opportunities to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with community policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear documentation of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• For driving positions, a valid driver’s license is required.

Pay

$14.60 / hour

• Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
