Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government aviation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminal areas, access points, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other designated locations, with working conditions varying by assignment.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, unattended items, and other security-related concerns, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government facility procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• A Guard Card or license.
• Access control and badge experience.

Pay

$16.97 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
